Redpath Australia is seeking experienced Underground Production Drillers to join our operations at Evolution Mining's Lake Cowal Underground Gold Mine in New South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term project with a respected mining contractor while contributing to safe and efficient underground production activities.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Production Driller, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground production drill rigs to achieve production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate underground production drill rigs safely and efficiently
- Drill production rings in accordance with mine plans and engineering requirements
- Accurately mark up and drill production patterns
- Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Monitor drilling performance and maintain drilling accuracy
- Identify and rectify minor equipment issues where appropriate




- Maintain production targets while adhering to safety standards
- Identify and report hazards, incidents and equipment defects
- Work closely with Charge Up crews, Bogger Operators and Supervisors
- Maintain high housekeeping and operational standards underground

Qualifications About You To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

- Previous underground mining experience operating production drill rigs
- Experience drilling underground production rings
- Experience operating Sandvik, Epiroc or similar production drilling equipment
- Strong understanding of underground production mining and drill and blast practices
- Commitment to safety and operational excellence
- Ability to work effectively within a high-performing team environment
- Relevant mining competencies, licences and tickets
- Current Australian work rights
- Ability to pass site medical and employment requirements
