As one of Australia's fastest-growing commercial construction companies, we've built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across commercial, residential, education, and data centre sectors, while continuing to expand into new markets and interstate projects.

As our project portfolio continues to grow, so does our Central Coordination function. Established to drive greater consistency, technical excellence and best-practice delivery across the business, the team plays a critical role in supporting project outcomes, identifying efficiencies and sharing lessons learned across multiple projects and sectors.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Project Coordinator (Carpentry Specialist) to join our Central Coordination team. This role offers a unique prospect to influence the delivery of carpentry packages, architectural door systems and associated building works across multiple projects, working closely with our Project Coordinators, Design Managers, Project Managers and delivery teams to drive quality, coordination and programme outcomes.

We're specifically seeking candidates who have developed their experience within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 head contractor environment, or an equivalent commercial construction setting, and bring strong experience coordinating carpentry packages, architectural door systems, door hardware schedules and related building works.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Project Coordinator or Senior Project Coordinator looking to broaden their experience beyond a single project environment and gain exposure to project delivery at a portfolio level.

Key Responsibilities;

- Coordinate and oversee the technical delivery of carpentry packages across multiple projects.
- Work closely with Project Coordinators, Design Managers, Project Managers and site teams to ensure carpentry packages are effectively detailed,

coordinated and delivered in line with programme requirements.
- Review architectural, services, security and electrical documentation, identifying discrepancies, clashes and coordination risks before they impact delivery.
- Coordinate architectural door hardware schedules, ensuring requirements are accurately documented, reviewed and integrated into project delivery.
- Lead the review and coordination of shop drawings, specifications, samples and material submissions, ensuring approvals are achieved in line with project and programme requirements.
- Manage design changes, technical queries and stakeholder engagement with clients, consultants and trade partners throughout the design and delivery process.
- Monitor package milestones and support procurement readiness to ensure successful onsite execution.
- Drive collaboration across project teams and external stakeholders to achieve coordinated, high-quality delivery outcomes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of carpentry delivery practices, identifying opportunities to enhance coordination processes, standardise approaches and drive best-practice outcomes across the business.

About You We're looking for candidates with specialist experience in commercial carpentry packages. You may currently be a Project Coordinator, Senior Project Coordinator or technical specialist working across this scope of works and are looking for an opportunity that offers broader exposure, greater influence and genuine career development. You'll Likely Bring;

- Experience coordinating carpentry packages within a Tier 1,

Tier 2 or equivalent commercial construction workplace, with exposure to architectural door systems, door hardware schedules and related building works.
- Strong understanding of architectural door hardware schedules and their integration with architectural, services, security and electrical requirements.
- Exceptional understanding of shop drawing workflows, specification reviews, sample approval processes and design coordination.
- Strong drawing interpretation skills and the ability to identify inconsistencies, omissions and coordination risks across multiple documentation sets.
- Sound knowledge of construction sequencing, buildability, programme management and the practical delivery of carpentry works onsite.
- Experience managing design changes and coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple projects.
- Proficiency in platforms such as Aconex, ACC and model-based coordination software.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving technical issues before they impact delivery.
