Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm Cafe is one of Tasmania's leading tourism and hospitality destinations, welcoming thousands of visitors every week. We're known for high-quality food and beverages, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.

We're looking for a qualified and experienced chef to join our kitchen team as we enter another busy peak season. You'll be joining an established team where quality, efficiency and teamwork are highly valued.

About the role

Working under the direction of our Head Chef, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and plating dishes from our seasonal menu, maintaining high standards in quality and presentation.
- Following daily preparation schedules to ensure efficient kitchen production and service.
- Setting up, stocking and maintaining your kitchen station.
- Assisting with deliveries, food storage, stock rotation and general kitchen organisation.
- Maintaining high standards in food safety, cleanliness and kitchen hygiene.
- Building strong working relationships with front of house and back of house staff.

About you We're looking for a qualified chef who has:

- A recognised commercial cookery qualification.
- Experience working in a high-volume kitchen operation.




- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- High attention to detail and pride in food quality and presentation.
- Great communication skills.
- A qualified approach to food safety, hygiene and workplace standards.

- Daytime trading, with work hours between 7am–5pm and no split shifts.
- Restaurant Industry Award Level 4 pay rates (ranging from $36.81 - $73.63 per hour).
- Regular opportunities to earn weekend and public holiday penalty rates.
- Casual employment with flexible days and hours, with full-time equivalent hours available if desired.
- Stable, long-term employment with opportunities to transition to permanent full-time.
- Rosters planned in four-week blocks, giving you plenty of notice of your shifts.
