Qualified Chef (full time or casual)

The Commodore is located in Mount Gambier, SA on the beautiful Limestone Coast. We are passionate about hospitality and guest experience is always our priority.

We offer outstanding food and beverage experiences in our Restaurant and Conferencing and Events, including weddings. Our restaurant was awarded Best Restaurant in a Hotel (SA) at the Restaurant and Catering Awards and received a judge’s commendation at the AHA (SA) in the Restaurant – Accommodation Division category. Our Business has grown to include Delgattie Estate – our luxury Hotel, Colhurst House, Mantra Mount Gambier and Bar Noky.

We are currently seeking a motivated and creative full-time or casual Qualified Chef for our Kitchen at The Commodore in a supportive family operated business.

Required experience and skills

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or relevant experience
- Creative flair and passion for outstanding food and beverage




- A strong appreciation for quality and consistency
- Ability to work proactively within a quality team
- Strong work ethic, excellent communication and time-management
- Excellent Knowledge of Food Hygiene Procedures
