Definitive Consulting is a specialist legal partnership search firm. We work exclusively at the senior end of the legal market, placing partners and partner-ready lawyers into leading firms across Australia.

We don’t wait for candidates to come to us. What you’ll do





- Map the market and identify the partners and senior lawyers our clients want
- Make the approach with confident, credible cold calls to people who aren’t expecting to hear from you
- Uncover what really drives a candidate, and build the case for a move
- Manage sensitive, high-value processes from first call through to offer
- Build long-term relationships in a market where reputation is everything

What we’re looking for

- A sales background, whether in recruitment, business development or any role where you’ve had to win people over and hit numbers
- A genuine work ethic. Headhunting rewards consistency, persistence and getting on the phone when it would be easier not to
- Gravitas and credibility: the presence to hold your own with senior partners and earn their trust quickly
- Resilience, curiosity and the ability to read people
- Legal sector experience is a plus, not a must. Attitude and ability matter more
