We are seeking an experienced AzureCloud Solution Architect with a utilities industry background tolead the migration of CRM data from an SAP-based platform to a SaaSsolution. The role will focus on architecting secure, scalableAzure-based migration and integration solutions that support complex utilitiescustomer data domains, regulatory requirements, and customer serviceoperations.

The successful candidate will bringstrong experience in Azure and CRM data models, enabling a smoothtransition from legacy SAP landscapes to contemporary SaaS platforms with minimalbusiness disruption.

Key Responsibilities

- Designend-to-end Azure architectures to support SAP-to-SaaS datamigration in a utilities context.

Data Migration
- Architectmigration of utilities CRM data, including customer, account,premise, meter, contract, billing, and interaction data.

- Ensuredata models are mapped correctly between SAP, Azure, and SaaS CRM platforms.

- Definereconciliation, validation, and exception-handling processes to support billing accuracy and customer service continuity.

- Designintegration between SAP, Azure middleware, and SaaS CRM platforms using API-driven, event-based, or batch patterns.

- Supportnear‑real‑time integration where required for customer updates andservice workflows.

- Workwith integration platforms such as SAP CPI, Azure IntegrationServices, or equivalent tooling.

Security, Compliance & Governance
- Ensuredesigns comply with utilities regulatory requirements, includingGDPR, data residency, and audit obligations.





- ImplementAzure-native security controls:

- RBAC,Managed Identities

- PrivateEndpoints and Network Security Groups

- Encryptionat rest and in transit

- Definegovernance for data lifecycle management, monitoring, and logging usingAzure Monitor and Azure Policy.

Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partnerwith utilities business stakeholders, CRM SMEs, SAP teams, SaaSvendors, and Azure engineers.

- Translatebusiness and regulatory needs into clear, practical architecturedesigns.

- Providearchitectural governance throughout build, test, cutover, and post‑migrationphases.

- SupportSIT, UAT, market or regional cutovers, and production go‑live.

Required Skills & ExperienceUtilities & Domain Experience
- Strongbackground in the utilities sector (energy, water, gas, ormulti-utility).

- Solidunderstanding of utilities CRM data domains, including:

- Customersand accounts

- Premisesand meters

- Contracts,tariffs, and billing-related data

- Customerinteractions and service cases

- Experiencesupporting customer service or billing transformation programmes.

- Strongknowledge of Azure data, integration, and security services.

- Experiencewith hybrid integration between on-premise SAP environments andAzure (VPN / ExpressRoute).

Professional Experience
- 7+years’ experience in Solution Architecture or Cloud Architecture roles.

- Experienceworking in complex, regulated environments.

- Excellentstakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable (Nice to Have)
- Experiencewith utilities-specific SAP solutions (e.g. IS‑U, S/4 Utilities).





- Experiencemigrating to or integrating with SaaS CRM platforms (e.g.Salesforce, Dynamics 365, industry SaaS CRMs).

- Knowledgeof SAP CPI integrated with Azure.

- Familiaritywith Azure DevOps and CI/CD for data and integration pipelines.

- Microsoftcertifications:

- Azure Solutions Architect Expert

- Azuretarget-state architecture aligned to utilities and CRM needs.

- SAP-to-SaaSCRM data migration strategies and cutover plans.

- Security,compliance, and operational design artefacts.

LightweightAzure Cloud Solution Architect – SAPto SaaS (Utilities)

We’re looking for an experienced AzureCloud Solution Architect to support the migration of customer CRMdata from an SAP platform to a SaaS solution within the utilitiessector.

This role suits someone with a strongAzure background, hands-on data migration experience, and a solidunderstanding of utilities CRM and customer data.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Designing Azure-based architectures for SAP-to-SaaS customer datamigration

- Leadingdata and integration design for CRM, customer, and billing-relateddata

- Workingwith Azure, and SaaS teams to deliver secure and compliant solutions

- Supportingdata migration, integration, testing, and cutover activities

What We’re Looking For
