HIRING: Technical Lead – Oracle RMS

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Oracle RMS to support a major retail environment in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will have strong hands‑on Oracle Retail technical expertise, particularly across Oracle RMS / Oracle Retail v11, integration, databases and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical delivery and support activities across the Oracle RMS environment
- Design, develop, enhance and troubleshoot Oracle RMS / Oracle Retail v11 solutions
- Develop and optimise PL/SQL and SQL procedures, packages and queries
- Support integrations using Oracle Retail Integration Bus (RIB)
- Work with Oracle Retail Allocation and merchandising processes
- Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts and batch-processing solutions
- Manage scheduled jobs using Autosys and/or Control-M
- Analyse production incidents, identify root causes and implement permanent fixes
- Work closely with business, functional, integration and support teams
- Provide technical guidance,



code reviews and mentoring to development team members
- Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability and retail operational requirements

Essential Skills
- 9–12 years of relevant IT experience, preferably within large retail environments
- Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle RMS / Oracle Retail Merchandising System
- Strong experience with Oracle Retail v11
- Advanced Oracle PL/SQL and SQL skills
- Experience with Oracle RIB (Retail Integration Bus)
- Experience with Oracle Retail Allocation
- Strong Unix/Linux scripting experience
- Experience with Autosys and/or Control-M
- Strong understanding of retail merchandising, inventory and allocation processes
- Experience troubleshooting complex Oracle Retail production issues
- Previous Technical Lead / Team Lead experience
- Solid stakeholder communication and problem‑solving skills
