We are looking for an experienced Chef for Tea Gardens Hotel to join an excellent team in New South Wales.

Tea Gardens Hotel is a little slice of paradise about 3 hours north of Sydney and 45 minutes north of Newcastle. Situated on the picturesque Myall River, the hotel boasts modern Australian food offerings, boutique accommodation and a view to die for.

Applicants must have strong experience in busy kitchens, be capable with fast paced, high volume service, take pride in food presentation and be effective in a busy team environment.

Key Requirements are:

- A qualified Chef with experience in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
- Passion for cooking and creativity in menu development and presentation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.




- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to excellence.
- Assisting in menu planning and contributing creative ideas for specials.
- Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently during busy service periods.
- Maintaining compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Managing stock levels, ordering ingredients, and minimizing waste.
- Mentoring and supporting junior staff to foster a collaborative and motivated kitchen team.

Permanent Full Time role with $76k -$86k (plus Super)
