Dominos Cairns is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team in Cairns City, QLD. As a leading pizza chain in Australia, Dominos is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and delicious food to our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all tasks and procedures are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company standards. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar supervisory role, along with strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to lead and motivate a team, and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and fulfilled promptly, maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe store setting, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Supervise, lead, and support retail staff to promote a productive work environment and ensure consistent performance in accordance with company standards.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and accurate cash handling.

- Ensure the store maintains a clean, organised, and hygienic environment in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

- Facilitate the training and development of new team members by providing appropriate guidance, ongoing support, and performance feedback.





- Address customer complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally and efficiently, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.

- Monitor sales performance and operational targets, implementing appropriate strategies to improve productivity and enhance store profitability.

- Collaborate with the Store Manager to plan and implement effective marketing and promotional initiatives to support business growth.

- Conduct regular inventory checks, monitor stock levels, and coordinate the timely ordering of supplies to ensure uninterrupted store operations.

- Foster a positive and productive workplace culture by encouraging teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic among all team members.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a retail supervisory role or a similar position.

- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise, motivate, and support team members.

- Strong customer service skills, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

- Sound knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and cash handling procedures.

- Availability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and other shifts as required by business operational needs.

- A strong interest in the food service industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

- The ability to remain composed under pressure and manage challenging situations professionally, efficiently, and with sound judgement.
