SeaLink South Australia offers a structured maritime traineeship starting with Shipboard Safety Skillset and advancing to Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 (MED2). You will progress to Master 5 and aspire to command accreditation in the future.

The program leads to a national Certificate III in Maritime Operations and includes training, uniforms, PPE, and mentoring through MRAEL. You’ll work across Cape Jervis to Kangaroo Island in a 7 on/7 off roster.
