The Opportunity

You’ll deliver a mix of preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, installations and electrical fault finding across commercial and retail facilities.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Carrying out general electrical maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance





- Installing electrical systems and equipment in line with legislative and contractual requirements

- Diagnosing, testing and repairing electrical faults and malfunctions

- Installing and connecting switches, outlets, circuit breakers, transformers, motors and other electrical equipment

- Installing electrical and electronic control systems

- Reading and interpreting electrical, architectural and mechanical drawings and specifications

- Planning wiring layouts and completing electrical installations

- Connecting equipment to power supplies and testing systems for safe operation

- Working across a variety of commercial and retail environments

What You’ll Bring

- Trade Certificate in Electrical or equivalent

- 3–5 years' experience in commercial and/or retail electrical maintenance

- Current Driver’s Licence

- White Card

- First Aid Certificate

- Working at Heights

- EWP under 11 metres

- Police Check

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Excellent organisation and time management

- Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team
