? The Opportunity

We're looking for a Part-Time Parking Officer to join our Shepparton team, working a regular roster of Wednesday to Saturday.

As an Orikan Parking Officer, you'll be the face of local mobility, helping ensure parking spaces remain accessible, safe and available for residents, visitors and local businesses.

?️ The Role:

Every day, you'll help improve parking equity and public safety by:

- Patrolling designated areas to monitor parking compliance
- Issuing infringement notices in line with Victorian Road Rules and applicable Council regulations
- Explaining parking regulations to residents and visitors
- Recording enforcement activities and maintaining accurate records
- Reporting incidents, hazards and public safety concerns
- Delivering professional and respectful customer service
- Representing Council and Orikan with professionalism, honesty and integrity

- Robust interpersonal and customer service skills
- A current Victorian Driver Licence
- Experience in customer service, compliance or enforcement (preferred but not essential)
- A willingness to learn the ins and outs of road safety, parking regulations and local laws

? Hours

- Part-Time position working a roster of Wednesday to Saturday
- Weekend, public holiday and applicable shift allowances

? Eligibility & Pre-Employment Checks

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need:

- Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or unrestricted working rights in Australia
- A current Victorian Driver Licence
- The ability to successfully complete a National Police Check
- The ability to successfully complete reference checks and a pre-employment medical assessment
