About the position:

Our client seeks a seasoned solicitor to manage a broad spectrum of cases, including legally aided and private matters. This role requires superior time management skills, effective client engagement, and regular courtroom representation. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience and be duty lawyer accredited or eligible for immediate accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee legal files, encompassing both legally aided and private cases
- Act as a duty lawyer, representing clients in court
- Deliver prompt and comprehensive legal advice
- Regularly appear in court for various matters




- Foster strong client relationships with a professional approach
- Instruct counsel on complex issues in the District and Supreme Courts
- Support other tasks as directed by the Principal and Senior Associate

Key Requirements:

- Minimum one year of criminal law experience
- Duty lawyer accreditation or the ability to obtain it immediately
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for travel between courthouses
