About the role

This full-time hybrid role blends digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and website updates during the day with front-of-house hosting at The Roosevelt on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. The Host is an integral part of the floor experience - the conductor of room energy, the first smile that sets the tone for the night, and the key driver of regular guest relationships.

Key responsibilities

Marketing & Content (Across All 3 Venues)

- Plan, create, and schedule high-quality content (Reels, TikToks, feed posts, stories) tailored to the unique identity of each venue.

- Shoot and edit photos and short-form video covering food, drinks, venue atmosphere, and special events.

- Collaborate with and brief external professional photographers/videographers for major seasonal menu launches, brand shoots, and key campaigns.

- Keep venue websites up to date on Squarespace with current menus, event listings, booking links, and promotions.

- Help plan and execute marketing campaigns for venue launches, seasonal menus, and special events.

- Monitor and respond to guest inquiries, and comments across social channels.

Hosting & Floor Experience (The Roosevelt)

- Thursday, Friday & Saturday Evenings (Latest finish 10pm): Act as the ultimate ambassador for The Roosevelt, welcoming guests with genuine warmth, flair, and style.

- Work closely with the floor and bar teams to manage table pacing, seating allocations (SevenRooms/OpenTable),



and guest flow.

- Recognise VIPs and regulars, making every guest feel like a celebrated insider from the moment they step through the door.

About you

- Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation (hospitality background strongly preferred).

- Hands-on photo and video capture skills using smartphones or digital cameras, along with editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Suite).

- Experience updating website platforms (Squarespace) and familiarity with venue booking systems (e.g., SevenRooms, OpenTable).

- A magnetic personality and genuine passion for people and floor energy.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills to balance content creation deadlines with evening shifts.

- Basic knowledge of Google SEO, local search optimisation (not essential).

- Full working rights in Australia and a valid NSW RSA certificate.
