Orange Health Service

About the role
Ready to take your perioperative nursing career to the next level?

Join the Operating Theatre team at Orange Hospital, the major referral centre for Western NSW, and be part of a high-performing department delivering exceptional patient-centred care and driving innovation in rural health.

Opportunities in our team are rare. Many of our nurses have progressed into senior roles at larger tertiary hospitals, while others have enjoyed long and rewarding careers before retiring. Now, a rare vacancy has become available.

With five operating theatres, a procedural room and a 10-bay recovery unit, you'll work across a diverse range of specialties including trauma, orthopaedics, upper GI, urology, ENT, obstetrics and gynaecology, and ophthalmology. You'll benefit from mentorship, professional development, subspecialty exposure, and opportunities to contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives.

Whether you're an experienced perioperative nurse seeking leadership opportunities or an early-career nurse looking to grow, you'll join a team united by clinical excellence, learning, and support.

Be part of something bigger. Build your future while strengthening rural health.
