About the Role:

Based at our Eastern Creek, NSW site, the role of Plant Mechanic within Bingo Industries is primarily responsible for the Servicing, Repairs and General Maintenance of Bingo's Mobile & Fixed Plant. Initial duties include but are not limited to:

- Reviewing and actioning faults resulting from the Plant Operators Daily Prestart Inspections.

- Performing scheduled servicing on Plant and Equipment.

- Timely responses to Plant & Equipment Breakdowns with a focus on maintaining Plant and Equipment uptime & productivity.

- Co-ordinating Plant and Equipment possession times with Operational Leaders to ensure operational impacts are minimised.

- Diagnosing and repairing Plant & Equipment faults and defects.

- Accurately maintaining Plant and Equipment Service and Maintenance records.





- Working closely with Plant Operators and Operational Leaders to reduce Operator derived impacts on plant and equipment performance and condition.

- Other duties where required.

About You:

The successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes:

- Heavy Mechanical Trade Certificate (Plant & Machinery) or similar qualification

- Previous experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance on a diverse range of mobile & fixed plant and equipment.

- Have a strong focus on safety in everything you do

- Strong diagnostic skills

- Moderate Electrical skills

- Moderate Welding and Fabrication skills.

- Strong Time Management skills.

- Ability to work autonomously / unsupervised as well as part of a team.

- Ability to shift focus and adapt to priority changes in a fast-paced workplace.

- Day shift with overtime and occasional weekend work.

- Desire to be a part of and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
