The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Tax Consultant to join a growing Corporate & International Tax team based in Brisbane CBD.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their technical expertise and transition into a more specialised, advisory-focused role.

Working closely with experienced tax specialists, you'll gain exposure to complex domestic and international tax matters, corporate structuring and transactions, with the majority of your time focused on advisory rather than traditional compliance.

Responsibilities

- Assist with corporate and international tax advisory engagements, including structuring, tax planning and CGT.
- Research complex tax matters and prepare technical advice and recommendations for clients.
- Gain exposure to international tax issues, including residency, withholding tax and cross-border transactions.
- Support business restructures, transactions, ATO reviews and private rulings.
- Prepare and review tax compliance work across a diverse client portfolio.




- Work closely with senior advisers and Partners on technically challenging engagements.

About You

- 1–4+ years' experience in tax within an Australian public practice environment.
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
- CA/CPA/CTA qualified or working towards completion.
- Sound understanding of Australian taxation legislation.
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in complex technical tax matters.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to build a career in tax advisory.
