Parks and Gardens Labourer
About the role

Staffpower is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Parks and Gardens Labourer to join our client's team at a local Albury site.

This is a casual opportunity offering a consistent 38-hour week, Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor spaces, gardens and landscaped areas while working as part of a dedicated team.

What you'll be doing

- Carrying out general gardening and landscaping duties including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding and mulching

- Maintaining gardens, lawns and landscaped areas

- Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and machinery

- Planting and maintaining horticultural products

- Removing debris, litter, leaves and other waste materials

- Assisting with cleaning duties, including oil spill clean-up when required

- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions





- Following workplace health and safety procedures and maintaining a high standard of work

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in parks and gardens, gardening, landscaping or a similar role

- Knowledge of gardening techniques and the safe use of equipment

- A current and valid driver's licence

- A current White Card

- Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour

- Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Highly regarded:

- Current excavator and/or loader tickets

- Experience operating small plant and machinery
