About the Role

We’re looking for a casual Vehicle Safety Inspector to inspect vehicles at locations around Whyalla and Port Augusta. You’ll mostly work on your own, with our team supporting you along the way.

What You'll Do

- Carry out hands-on vehicle safety inspections

- Safely remove and dispose of any hazards you find

- Complete accurate inspection reports in our smartphone app

- Build positive working relationships with staff at the sites you visit

- Plan your day and travel between inspection sites

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

What You'll Need

- Availability for jobs between 7:30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday

- A current driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle (we pay a per-kilometre allowance)

- A capable smartphone

- No industry experience needed

The Hours

This is a casual role of about 5 to 10 hours per fortnight, depending on inspection volumes. It suits people who want casual work that fits around other commitments.
