About the role

Chemist King Colonel Light Gardens is looking for a hands-on, people-focused Retail Store Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. With high customer demand and strong sales volumes, this is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our existing part-time Store Manager, providing additional leadership, support and focus to help the store continue to thrive. You'll play an important role in driving store performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating a positive, high-performing workplace.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop the team, building a positive culture where people feel supported and motivated.

- Deliver outstanding customer service, setting the standard for friendly, knowledgeable and engaging customer interactions.

- Support daily store operations, including rostering, staffing and workflow management.

- Drive sales and retail performance through effective merchandising, promotions and team engagement.

- Maintain high standards across visual merchandising, stock management and store presentation.

- Identify opportunities for improvement to enhance the customer experience, streamline operations and grow the business.

- Lead from the front, working alongside the team on the shop floor and providing hands-on support in a busy retail environment.





- Work collaboratively with the existing Store Manager to oversee day-to-day retail operations and keep the store running at its best.

About You

You’re a confident and approachable leader who knows how to motivate a team, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll bring:

- Previous retail management or team leadership experience.

- Robust people management and communication skills.

- A customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering great service.

- Commercial awareness and a focus on sales, productivity and store performance.

- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with the existing Store Manager.

Experience in pharmacy, health, beauty or wellness retail will be highly regarded.
