About the role

We are seeking Clinical Nurse Specialist (Anaesthetics) to join our team on a full-time basis.

About The Role

- Providing support, direction, orientation and education to Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses in the Theatre areas. Facilitate and mentor in conjunction with the Management Team.

- Responsible for planning and coordinating services relating to Anaesthetics at Somerset Private Hospital.

- Acting as a role model in the provision of care to patients.

- Other selected duties as allocated by the CEO / Director of Nursing.

- At times, review, create and update policies, work instructions and participate in the audit process.

To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:

- Minimum 5 years anaesthetics experience

- PACU experience desirable

- ALS/PALS desirable

- Leadership experience desirable





- Exceptional clinical skills

- Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices

- he ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team

- An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care

Essential Skills and Qualifications

- Registration with AHPRA

- National Criminal Record Check

- Working with Children Check.
