At AES Hobart, part of the Animal Emergency Australia (AEA) network, you’ll work at the forefront of emergency medicine, delivering life-saving care when it matters most.

As this is a 24/7 emergency hospital, availability for overnights, weekends and public holidays is essential.

About the Role

Our Veterinary Nurse Assistant team members are trained to help support the Nursing staff.

Your main tasks will include:

- Supporting the nursing team and assisting with laboratory test
- Animal handling and restraint
- Maintaining clinic hygiene standards
- Demonstrating flexibility and a team first mindset across both clinical and administrative shifts
- Promote positive team culture and AES Core Values





About You

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Resilient, adaptable and solutions-focused
- Certificate II Animal Care or equivalent and wanting to obtain Cert IV Veterinary Nursing

- Permanent part time role working minimum 60 hours per fortnight
