We are seeking a motivated Graduate Mining Engineer to join our operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a practical mining environment while gaining exposure to planning, production, load and haul, cost control and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Working closely with experienced mining professionals, you will support the safe and efficient delivery of operational plans. You will analyse performance, spend time in the field and contribute practical ideas that improve safety, productivity, quality and cost outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with short-term mine planning, scheduling and production reporting.

- Monitor operational performance and investigate variances against the plan.

- Support drill and blast, load and haul, and pit development activities.

- Undertake field inspections, data collection, reconciliations and technical analysis.

- Contribute to safe work practices, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, geology and surveying teams.

- Prepare clear reports, plans and presentations for operational stakeholders.

About You





- A completed or soon-to-be-completed degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.

- A strong commitment to health, safety and responsible mining practices.

- Sound analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

- A practical mindset and willingness to spend time in an operational setting.

- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Competence with Microsoft Office; exposure to mine planning software will be highly regarded.

- A current driver’s licence and the ability to meet site access requirements.
