Chandler Macleod has 3 contract vacancies across PO3 - PO5 levels (level matched to experience) for Civil Engineers to join a busy Preservation & Maintenance team on the Gold Coast.

Join a high-performing team responsible for delivering maintenance, rehabilitation, safety and asset preservation projects across a large and complex transport infrastructure network.
We are looking for candidates with experience in civil infrastructure, roads, transport, construction or asset management who can contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
These positions offer the opportunity to work on projects that maintain and improve critical transport infrastructure. Responsibilities will be matched to your level and may include project delivery and contract administration through to technical leadership, stakeholder management and mentoring of engineering teams.

We are hiring across:

- Engineer (PO3 equivalent)
- Senior Engineer (PO4 equivalent)
- Principal Engineer (PO5 equivalent)

Key Responsibilities (matched to your level):

- Support and/or lead the delivery of road infrastructure maintenance, rehabilitation and safety projects
- Contract administration and contractor performance management (level dependent)
- Support project planning, delivery, reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Coordinate procurement activities, including tenders,



evaluation and contract award support
- Provide engineering advice and technical input across project lifecycles
- Monitor safety, quality, environmental and compliance requirements
- Work closely with internal teams, contractors, consultants and external stakeholders
- Senior/Principal levels: provide technical leadership and mentor engineers and technical staff

About You:
Mandatory:

- Bachelor of Civil Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
- Experience delivering engineering, maintenance, rehabilitation or infrastructure projects
- Experience in project management, contract administration or construction delivery
- Solid stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Current C Class Driver Licence
- White Card

Desirable:

- Experience within roads, transport, infrastructure, construction, utilities or local/state government environments
- RPEQ required for Principal (PO5) and highly regarded for Senior (PO4)

Contract Details:
Location: On-site - Gold Coast (Nerang)
Duration: 12 Month Contract with possible extension
Start Date: Early November 2026
Rate: $67.95 - $94.59 per hour + Super (depending on level and experience)
