Border Express currently has an exciting opportunity available for a motivated MR Driver to join the team at our Coffs Harbour branch.

We’ve got a permanent role available, Monday to Friday, doing local pickups and deliveries. If you know express freight and take pride in doing the job right, we want to hear from you.

This position plays an integral part in the safe, efficient and effective movement of freight to achieve the delivery promise that we have made to our customers.

Duties:

- Securing loads properly every time.

- Completing PODs using PDA Scanners.

- Doing pre start checks and keeping your truck and forklift are in good condition.

- Working with the depot team to keep freight moving safely and on time.

- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and professional presentation.

- Adhere to all relevant laws and legislation including load restraint guides, DG codes, fatigue management legislation, road laws and council regulations.

Skills and Experience:

- MR Licence.

- Excellent Driver History Report.

- LF Licence is desired but not essential.





- Great local knowledge of Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas.

- Sound knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG) requirements, Load Restraint requirements.

- Willingness to complete a Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical (paid by Border Express).
