A privately owned, internationally headquartered group with operations across multiple countries. Its Australian business delivers complex, large-scale services across a national footprint of sites, underpinned by a high value contract portfolio.

The Opportunity
The business is at an important point and requires an experienced finance leader to step in, take stock and set the financial direction. Reporting to senior leadership and working closely with the global parent, you’ll lead a comprehensive review of the financial position and ensure the Australian operation remains sustainable and well governed for the life of its contracts.

Key Focus Areas

- Conduct an end-to-end review of the financial position, controls and reporting
- Assess contract pricing and profitability, identifying risks and opportunities across the portfolio
- Build a explicit, credible view of financial sustainability and a roadmap to secure it
- Strengthen financial governance, internal controls and accountability across the function
- Provide trusted advice to the executive team, Board and global stakeholders
- Lead,



stabilise and develop the finance team through a period of change
- Engage confidently with third-party stakeholders on commercial and financial matters

About You

- CA or CPA qualified with substantial CFO or senior finance leadership experience
- Proven track record leading financial review, stabilisation or transformation in complex environments
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in large contracts (Public-Private Partnership exposure an advantage but not essential)
- Calm, credible and decisive, with the gravitas to influence at Board and global level
- Able to diagnose quickly, prioritise well and deliver results within a defined timeframe
- Available immediately or on short notice

The Assignment
An initial 6-9 month interim engagement based in Brisbane (preferred), Canberra or Sydney with a genuine likelihood of extension or permanency.
