We have an exciting role for an passionate chef/cook to join us on a 6 month contract over the busy summer months (with potential for long term arrangement). This role is perfect for someone who has multiple years experience in restaurant kitchens & is looking for a unique challenge whilst learning directly about what goes into operating a small catering/food truck business.

Working 30+ hours a week alongside our owner &/or head chef, this role includes:
Prepping our ingredients at our southern suburbs warehouse for festivals, catering jobs & events
Being able to work both service shifts at large festivals & events where speed of service is critical & catered events where presentation is key.
Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse,



truck and work sites

Food Safety Supervisor training can be provided for right candidates

We also have some exciting pop up prospects offering a chance for some menu creationIn terms of what we require from you, at least 3 years experience working in a restaurant/catering style kitchen, ability to work in small teams (and with untrained staff, hygiene and presentability.

Drivers license and FSS certificate not required, however will go a long way to helping the right candidate.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
