As a General Practice Nurse at Corio Village Medical Practice, you will play a vital role in assisting our doctors and supporting our patients throughout their healthcare journey. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Key responsibilities
Provide clinical nursing care to patients, including administering injections, dressings, and other nursing interventions
Assist doctors with medical examinations and procedures
Conduct health assessments, screening tests, and chronic disease management programs
Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-management strategies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with medical practice protocols
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Engage in ongoing career development to enhance your nursing knowledge and skills
About you
Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum of 1 year experience in a general practice or primary healthcare setting
Strong clinical skills and experience in a range of nursing interventions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with best practice in primary healthcare
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a adaptable and adaptable approach
