Female Disability Support Worker – High-Intensity Care

Location: Bendigo, VIC

About the Role

CarePro is seeking experienced and compassionate female Disability Support Workers to support a female participant in her 30s living in Bendigo. The participant has high-intensity support needs, is bedbound, and has Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

This role requires a skilled support worker who can provide safe, respectful and reliable care, with a robust focus on personal care, PEG feeding, medication management and overnight support.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, formal qualifications and demonstrated PEG feeding experience.

Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care, including hygiene, showering or bed bathing, dressing and toileting.
Deliver PEG feeding in accordance with the participant's prescribed feeding plan and relevant clinical instructions.




Assist with medication administration in line with the participant's medication plan and CarePro's policies.
Provide secure support with repositioning, pressure care and other bedbound care needs, as required and within your training and competency.
Prepare meals and assist with domestic duties, including cleaning and maintaining a safe living setting.
Monitor the participant's wellbeing and report any changes, concerns or incidents promptly.
Provide overnight support during the sleepover period and respond appropriately to any support needs.
Maintain accurate progress notes and follow all care plans, risk assessments and infection control procedures.
