About the role

Sticky Rice Thai is a busy, well-established Thai restaurant in Tugun on the southern Gold Coast. We are seeking an experienced Thai chef for afternoon prep and cooking authentic Thai across wok, grill, curry and fry stations during busy dinner service. You will help run the kitchen alongside the head chef and step up to lead the kitchen when the head chef is off. This is a long-term prospect to grow into a senior or head chef role.

Key responsibilities

About you
Solid commercial experience cooking authentic Thai food
Ability to handle a quick, high-volume dinner service
Reliability
Positive food safety and hygiene practices
Team-first attitude
Right to work in Australia
