About the role:



You’ll lead and grow an IP practice advising the firm's commercial and brand-led clients.

Responsibilities:

Advising on trade marks, copyright, designs and brand protection

Drafting and negotiating licensing, commercialisation and technology agreements

Managing IP portfolios and enforcement strategies

Running or overseeing IP disputes and infringement matters

Building a team and cross-referring with the firm's commercial and disputes groups

What you’ll bring:

8+ years' post-admission experience in intellectual property

A portable practice or established client following that covers your remuneration (essential)

Admission in Australia and an unrestricted NSW practising certificate

A track record of business development and long-term client relationships

The leadership ability to build and mentor a team

An entrepreneurial approach and the ambition to grow your practice

Additional information
