Truck Body Builder / Fabricator – Meridian Industries

Meridian Industries is seeking an experienced Truck Body Builder / Fabricator to join our busy heavy vehicle manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble truck bodies, tippers, trays and subframes.
Perform MIG welding, cutting, grinding and steel fabrication.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Fit truck bodies, hydraulic equipment and accessories.
Carry out truck body modifications and repairs.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.

Requirements:
Experience in truck body building, welding or metal fabrication.
Solid MIG welding and fabrication skills.
Ability to read fabrication drawings.
Experience with heavy vehicles and hydraulics is an advantage.
Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or in a team.
