To be successful in this role, you will have:

Demonstrated experience in technical sales, preferably involving fencing, gates, building products, fabricated products, manufacturing materials, construction products or another technical product setting.

Demonstrated ability to identify customer requirements and recommend technically appropriate products or configurations.

·

Experience explaining technical product information and options to customers in a explicit and practical manner.

·

Experience preparing estimates and quotations based on measurements, quantities, materials and technical specifications.

·

Ability to accurately interpret dimensions, drawings, site measurements and technical specifications.

·

Robust understanding of the sales process, including following up enquiries, preparing quotations,

converting sales opportunities and maintaining customer relationships.

·

Ability to understand product features, materials, finishes and technical limitations and communicate these to customers.

·

Ability to liaise effectively with customers, management, manufacturing personnel, welders and fabricators.
