About the role

We are looking for a practical, technically minded and customer-focused person to join our team in a varied Technical Sales / Customer Support role. You will work with a range of customers including farmers, farm supply businesses and commercial/industrial customers, helping them understand our products and find solutions that best suit their needs. Full time attendance preferred, or minimum 4 days per week.

Key responsibilities
Talking with customers to understand their requirements
Recommending suitable products and practical solutions
Preparing quotations and following up customer enquiries
Providing product brochures, installation information and layout diagrams
Preparing basic product layouts and technical drawings
Liaising with our production and office teams to ensure customer requirements are understood
Learning our products, systems and basic accounting software

About you
Excellent listening and communication skills
Good reading & comprehension ability
Computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook




An ability to learn new software and systems
Good numerical ability and attention to detail
An interest in technical drawing, CAD or SketchUp
Valuable written English, including spelling and grammar
A confident and friendly manner
Valuable organisational skills
Creative problem-solving ability
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
