Maxwell Recruitment & Training have been a specialist supplier of skilled labour into heavy industry for over 15 years and currently have opportunities for two Stainless Steel Boilermakers to join our client’s workshop in Tomago.

These positions involve light to medium structural fabrication using 316 stainless steel RHS and beams. Applicants must have stainless steel welding experience and be able to work from fabrication drawings to a high standard.

What Is on Offer:
Four-day working week: 4 × 9.5-hour days
$58.39 Casual rate
Overtime available
At least four months of work for the right candidates
Workshop-based positions in Tomago

Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication of light to medium stainless steel structural components
MIG welding of 316 stainless steel pre cut RHS and beams
Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings




Maintaining a high standard of accuracy and workmanship
Working safely within a workshop workplace

Essential Requirements:
Trade Qualified Boilermaker
Experience fabricating and welding stainless steel
MIG welding experience
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
Robust commitment to quality and workplace safety
Ability to pass a 6 mm MIG fillet weld test, assessed visually in-house, before commencing
