The Software Engineer designs, builds and maintains software features across our product platform, working closely with product and design on new functionality.

What you'll do
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code to deliver new product features.
Collaborate with product and design on the design and delivery of recent features.
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions with the wider team.
Debug and resolve production issues as they arise.
Contribute to technical documentation to support the wider team.
Write and maintain automated tests to support code quality and confidence in releases.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation and retrospectives.
Support triage and investigation of bug reports from users and stakeholders.
Collaborate with QA to ensure features are properly tested before release.




Continuously look for opportunities to improve code quality and development practices.

What we're looking for
2+ years' professional software engineering experience.
Strong fundamentals in at least one contemporary language or framework.
Experience working in an agile team environment.
Comfortable working with version control (Git) and cooperative development workflows.
Good understanding of testing practices, including unit and integration testing.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Australian work rights.
Desirable: experience with cloud platforms or CI/CD pipelines.
Desirable: exposure to a modern frontend or backend framework relevant to our stack.
