HIR Talent is partnering with an established commercial construction contractor to appoint a Senior Estimator to their Sydney team.

This is a fantastic prospect for an experienced estimator to join a team-oriented and supportive team and take ownership of complex tenders and cost planning across a diverse project portfolio.

The Opportunity
Lead detailed tenders and cost plans for projects up to $50M+
Develop tender strategies with a strong commercial focus
Price complex, staged and live-workplace projects
Build and maintain strong subcontractor relationships
Identify project risks and ensure accurate, competitive pricing
Prepare ECI and feasibility-stage cost plans
Mentor and support junior estimating team members

About You
10+ years' estimating experience
Proven experience with complex tenders up to $50M




Experience with cost planning for $50M+ projects
Background across commercial; hospitality, health, education, retail or similar sectors
Strong commercial judgement and understanding of construction costs
Proficient in Cubit / Cubit Select or similar estimating software
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar
