Join our dynamic team as a Senior Bookkeeper. We’re seeking a detail-oriented professional passionate about delivering exceptional client service. Main Responsibilities would include;
Providing bookkeeping & payroll services to a range of clients.
Reconciliation and payment of superannuation.
Bank transaction reconciliation.
Prepare monthly BAS/IAS and Quarterly BAS’s.
Provide other general assistance to our accountants.
Provide guidance and support to junior members of the bookkeeping team.
Acting as a dedicated account manager & point of contact for clients.

About You – Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate is someone who can bring the following to the role:
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks/Xero & MYOB
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
Payroll and BAS Experience are essential for this role

Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping in Australia or relevant qualifications.
5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Ability to pass a functional pre-employ medical including drug and alcohol screen
Hold a current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
Provide a National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
Be health, safety and environmentally conscious
The ability to make practical decisions under pressure
Payroll and BAS Experience are essential for this role
