About the role

Service Technician for mobility aids at Good Life Medical Pty Ltd. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, service and repair assistive technology equipment including manual wheelchairs and other specialised mobility products. This role involves both workshop-based and occasional off-site servicing duties.

Key responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, service and repair assistive technology equipment which includes manual wheelchairs and other specialised mobility products
Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Assembly of recent products and ensuring quality assurance is achieved
Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products
Occasional product delivery and pick up
Off site servicing duties as required occasionally
General warehouse duties such as stock take, manage spare parts, receiving and checking deliveries
Manage jobs from start to finish with robust attention to detail
Other duties as required

About you
Experience and competence in a technical and mechanical service role




Excellent communication and customer service skills and proven ability to work as part of a team
Friendly and competent phone manner
Physically fit, reliable, honest, loyal, hard working and willing to learn
A commitment to exemplary customer service and the ability to be responsive to customer and client requests for service and assistance
Problem solving skills
Must hold a full driver's licence (automatic and manual)
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Willing to take random drug and alcohol testing
National Police clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
