Eyemedics is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our large, friendly, and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical setting and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient service. What you’ll be doing:
Welcoming patients and managing front desk enquiries
Handling incoming phone calls and responding to emailed enquiries
Making patient appointments
Processing payments, Medicare claims, and specialist referrals
Maintaining accurate patient records and correspondence
Scanning and uploading documents to patient records
Supporting clinicians and administrative staff in a large, team-focused environment
Delivering excellent customer service with a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail What we’re looking for:




Experience in medical reception or administration (specialist/ophthalmology experience highly regarded)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level customer service skills
Solid attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a busy practice
Proficiency with medical software (Genie or similar preferred)
Experience in medical typing would be advantageous but not essential
A positive, team-oriented attitude

Current National Police Clearance

Above award wages – $32 to $38 per hour based on experience
