Engage Construction is an Eastern Suburbs based main contractor who deliver quality projects to a diverse range of industry sectors including commercial, residential, retail, hospitality and industrial. We’re looking for a Junior Site Manager with a Carpentry qualification or at least in their 3rd year of apprenticeship to join a live project in Wolloomooloo or Redfern.

Key responsibilities:
Manage the successful delivery of commercial and residential construction projects from start to finish
Assist in the development and preparation of detailed project briefs and project plans to ensure that project requirements and objectives are clearly set out and structured during project delivery
Manage projects from site to ensure projects are completed on time, to the approved scope and quality requirements
Program management,



ensuring all project milestones are achieved and that any risks are identified and mitigated as early as possible
Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to ensure high levels of engagement, communication and satisfaction
Be on the tools as required

To be successful:
You will be keen to develop in the team and have experience on site as a carpenter
You have valuable communication skills and are happy to be client facing to build on stakeholder relationships and liaise with subbies
You will be trade qualified or at least in your 3rd year carpentry apprenticeship
You will have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
You will enjoy a variety of projects and pride yourself on the way you treat subbies
You will have high level skills in reading plans and setting out
A thirst for a challenge, energy and vision to want to succeed and grow within the business for the long term
