Recruitment 101 is seeking an experienced Upholsterer on behalf of our client, a boutique furniture company based in Hobart.

This is a great prospect for a skilled upholsterer to join a quality-focused team working across the manufacture, repair and restoration of furniture.

Key responsibilities
Measuring, cutting and preparing upholstery materials;
Fitting foam, padding, webbing and other support materials;
Cutting, sewing and fitting fabric and leather coverings;
Upholstering and re-upholstering furniture;
Repairing and replacing worn or damaged upholstery; and
Ensuring finished work meets quality standards.

About You The successful applicant will have:
Previous experience in furniture upholstery;
Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience;
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship;
Experience working with a range of upholstery materials; and
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
