About the role

We're looking for reliable people to join our team building industrial poultry sheds and looking after our properties. Work across the company includes steel assembly and installation, repairs, cleaning, general maintenance. Your duties will depend on your skills, experience and the work available. You won't be expected to do everything listed below. Property upkeep and cleaning staff accommodation may form part of your role, depending on your suitability.

Key responsibilities
Measuring, marking, cutting and preparing metal components
Assembling, fitting, aligning and securing steel frames and structures
Using hand and power tools
Reading and following basic plans, measurements and specifications
Assisting with repairs and maintenance of equipment and structures
Cleaning and maintaining staff accommodation and the director's property




Carrying out general property upkeep and odd jobs
Keeping tools, equipment and work areas clean, tidy and secure
Following WHS requirements and site procedures

About you
Reliable and able to work well with others
Comfortable with the physical requirements of your assigned duties
Willing to learn and ask questions when unsure
Care about doing a positive job and working safely
Construction, maintenance, cleaning or horse-care experience is helpful, depending on your duties
Practical skills and confidence with tools are desirable for construction and maintenance work
Current White Card required for construction work
Driver licence desirable
