The Opportunity As an External Audit Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of audit engagements from planning through to completion, working closely with clients, partners and the wider audit team.





Your responsibilities will include
Managing external audit engagements from planning through to completion
Overseeing risk assessments, audit testing and technical audit matters
Managing engagement timelines, budgets and overall delivery
Acting as a key point of contact for clients and developing strong stakeholder relationships
Working closely with partners on complex matters and client delivery
Reviewing audit working papers and ensuring a high standard of quality
Leading, coaching and developing junior members of the team

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
External audit experience gained within a mid-tier or boutique professional services firm
Previous experience managing and taking a lead role on external audit engagements
Strong technical audit knowledge and commercial awareness
Experience managing client relationships and multiple engagements
The ability to coach and support junior team members
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA qualification, or equivalent

Valid Australian working rights are required.
