Karratha International Hotel is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Duty Manager looking to join and contribute to a busy operation on a full time basis. The role will report to the Food & Beverage Manager with the successful applicant being a leader in our Italian themed restaurant Luce Bar e Cibo while also assisting with diverse function operations.

Although the role is primarily Food and Beverage based, it will also have more broad tasks across other areas of the hotel's operation. The position requires a dedication to ensuring consistent high standards of service and hospitality across the property. Responsibilities:
Manage the daily Food and Beverage operations of the hotel
Coordinating the activity of the Food and Beverage staff
Development and training of staff
Maintaining high standards of service
Opening and/or closing of the venue
Maintaining venue presentation and cleanliness
Processing & reconciling POS & EFT terminals and complete with end of day financial reporting
Attending management briefings and meetings




Monthly stocktaking and stock control procedures
Assist with Front Office/Rooms duties outside reception operating hours
After hours night phone duties

Requirements:
Previous experience as a Duty Manager
Excellent understanding of cellar operations
Solid knowledge of wine, draught beer and spirits
Valid WA un-restricted approved managers certification
Be able to work in a quick-paced environment.
Have a passion for delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Have strong leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of WHS
H&L; Knowledge is highly regarded.
