Toto Fish Bar – Glen Waverley

We are currently looking for experienced Sushi Chefs / Japanese Hot Kitchen Chefs to join our team.

Experience in either sushi or hot kitchen is required. Candidates with experience in both sushi and hot kitchen will be highly regarded.

Sushi Chef
Previous experience in a Japanese kitchen
Experienced in fish preparation, sashimi, nigiri and sushi rolls
Robust knife skills with attention to presentation and food quality

Hot Kitchen Chef
Previous experience in Japanese hot kitchen
Experienced in making tempura
Familiar with Japanese-style grilling
Able to independently handle food preparation and service during busy periods

We are looking for someone who:
Has at least 2 years of relevant Japanese cuisine experience (preferred)
Is punctual, responsible and reliable
Can work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Has good teamwork skills
Is looking for secure, long-term employment
Can start immediately

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
