We are looking for a capable and organised dental assistant, to perform chairside assisting for the endodontist during procedures as well as other clinical tasks. This is a specialised role that has some increased responsibilities from standard dental assisting. We are happy to train you from scratch so no experience is required, but our pay rate will reflect the experience you have. Hard workers who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
Assisting in rapid-paced endodontic procedures, working efficiently and to the clinician's needs
Taking x-rays and CBCT scans
Sterilisation and infection control to a high standard
Cleaning the clinic chair and operating area
Organising and keeping stock of equipment and inventory
Occasional assistance with reception work such as answering the phone and collecting payments
About you
Endodontic experience preferred but not necessary
Well coordinated,
able to keep up with fast-paced endodontic treatment
Able to handle work under pressure
Organised, punctual and task-oriented
Adaptable and willing to learn
Friendly demeanor and positive attitude, a team player with integrity
