About the Role Ideal Corp is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician / Laboratory Technician to join the team. This full‑time, permanent position involves a combination of laboratory testing, field work and technical support within the concrete and construction materials workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct field and laboratory testing of concrete, grout, mortar, admixtures and construction materials in accordance with Australian Standards and project specifications
Collect, prepare, cure and test samples and maintain accurate testing records
Analyse and interpret test data including slump, air content, strength, durability, permeability and material performance




Assist engineers with mix design evaluation, admixture performance and compliance assessments Perform site sampling, inspections and field testing
Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and testing instruments
Prepare test reports, technical summaries and compliance documentation Support quality assurance, technical investigations and R&D; activities

Candidate Requirements
Diploma or higher qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant Australian employment
Experience in concrete, construction materials or laboratory testing is highly regarded
Robust attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate technical records

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
