Workhorse Staffing are seeking experienced Boilermakers / Welders to join a well-established heavy vehicle manufacturing and repair business based on the south side of Brisbane.

This is a hands-on role working across car carriers, including repairs, modifications and new builds. The successful candidates will have solid welding and fabrication skills, the ability to think for themselves and a practical approach to solving problems.

The Role
Fabrication, welding and repair work on car carriers and heavy vehicles
Structural and non-structural welding
Repairs and modifications to existing vehicles
Fabrication and welding for new builds
Working from drawings and job specifications
Diagnosing issues and developing practical solutions
Following established methods, processes and instructions




Maintaining high standards of work and safety

About You
Trade qualified Boilermaker / Welder
Strong structural and non-structural welding experience
Previous experience with heavy vehicles, trailers or similar equipment is highly advantageous
Experience with repairs, modifications and fabrication
Able to work independently and think through problems
Practical and solutions-focused approach
Willingness to learn and follow established methods and processes
Robust attention to detail and pride in your work
Reliable and committed to a long-term prospect
