Auto Electrician Technicians – Short Term Fleet Upgrade Project

Resource Up are currently seeking experienced Auto Electrician Technicians to support a short‑term, major fleet upgrade across a high‑profile mining operation.

We’ve partnered with a Tier 1 contractor specialising in mining and maintenance services, who are actively recruiting Auto Electricians with robust MEM experience. These roles are immediate start and offer the chance to join a well‑established team during a significant equipment overhaul.

Roster & Project Details
FIFO ex Perth only
Dayshift only
2:2 or 2:1 rosters available
4–8 month upgrade project with potential to extend

About the Role

You will be involved in the installation and commissioning of safety‑related control systems across a range of mobile equipment and light vehicles, including:
Reverse camera systems
Anti roll‑away automatic park brake alert/application
Seatbelt alarm systems

Surface projects will include: CAT Trucks, Highway Trucks,



Buses and Light vehicles

Skills & Requirements
Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
Minimum C Class Australian Driver Licence
Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol test
Full Australian working rights
Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
Mining/mobile equipment experience
Experience installing and commissioning electrical/electronic systems
Ability to interpret OEM installation instructions and technical documentation
Minimum 1 year experience in mining maintenance
